Why go see "MEMOS. About this millennium"

The exhibition at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan that explores the meaning of clothes immersed in the context for which they were created has been extended until September 28th.

IoDonna - MEMOS. About this millennium" was inaugurated at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan on 21 February, during the Fashion Week, but few people were able to visit it before the lockdown that put everyone's life on hold, including museums.

Now it has been extended until next September 28th, and the ticket (with which you can also see the permanent collection of the museum) is sold at the price of one euro for the first three thousand visitors.

Conceived and curated by Maria Luisa Frisa, critic and director of the Fashion Design and Multimedia Arts course at the Iuav University of Venice, MEMOS is a broad reflection on the very concept of a fashion exhibition, which in this way is not a set of clothes (and does not even line them up chronologically, or by style) but the story of the entire system, in which words and images that tell them are equally protagonists.
