The Italian audiovisual industry is truly attractive if, in the midst of this second wave of the pandemic and the deep uncertainties of this period, an international fund has decided to invest in our talent. This is how Tendercapital Productions was born, a new production company wholly owned by the Tendercapital fund, of which Moreno Zani is chairman. "We are an English asset management company, but we decided to bet on the Italian spirit and, in particular, on Italian cinema because I believe,' says Zani, 'that the Italian world has a lot to say and a lot of content to express. We need to find ways to make them accessible and also economically advantageous. Tendercapital is a somewhat atypical fund, which has also invested in the art world before focusing on cinema. "We are convinced that it is precisely in times of difficulty, such as those currently experienced by the cinema, that one must invest, if one has the idea of a different production project", Zani continues. "Moreover, it is not only us who are doing this, but also American funds such as Oaktree who are buying European companies. There is such a hunger for content that funds see production as a business opportunity'.
