Director Claudio Noce is now filming between Rome and Calabria

Claudio Noce directs Pierfrancesco Favino in his third feature film, PADRE NOSTRO, whose shooting began in Rome on 29 July. Written by Noce himself with Enrico Audenino, the film is produced by Andrea Calbucci and Maurizio Piazza’s Lungta Film, by PKO Cinema & Co., Favino’s own production company, by Tendercapital Productions, a film production company belonging to the Tendercapital Group, in collaboration with Vision Distribution and with the support of the Calabria Film Commission. Inspired by a news story, PADRE NOSTRO is the story of two boys, Valerio and Christian, and the Summer in which they make a terrible discovery, the violence of adults, and a wonderful one, the strength of friendship. In the cast there are also Barbara Ronchi, Francesco Colella and the very young Mattia Garaci and Francesco Gheghi. After the Roman stage, shooting continues in these days in Calabria, on the Tyrrhenian coast at Scilla and Palmi, in Sila at Lorica and on the Arvo lake, on the Ionian coast in Camini, Riace and the San Fili castle in Stignano. The direction of photography is entrusted to Michele D’Attanasio, the scenography to Paki Meduri, the costumes to Olivia Bellini. PADRE NOSTRO will be released in cinemas distributed by Vision Distribution.
