Nan Goldin at Triennale in Milan

September 20th, 2017

The photographer, one of the protagonists of "Through women's eyes", on exhibition with "The Ballad of Sexual Dependency" up to November 26th.

Curated by François Hébel

"The Ballad of Sexual Dependency" is a video installation telling the vicissitudes of the photographer and her mates, on the background of Boston, New York, London and Berlin’ downtowns by the ’70 and ’80.

An autobiographical and universal diary made of images, about human beings’ weakness, that tells about life, sex, transgression, drugs, friendship, loneliness. A work in progress that started by early Eighties, today known as one of the most important artworks of the history of photography.
