Principal photography has begun on Marta Savina's first film, "Shotgun"

In the Nebrodi mountains, in the suggestive landscape of northern Sicily, principal photography has begun on the set of SHOTGUN (working title), the first feature film written and directed by Marta Savina.


SHOTGUN is the story of Lia, a young girl who reacts to the most terrible violence with an act of rebellion that will unhinge the social customs of her time. In a world where the law of the strongest reigns, the mafia is rooted and accepted as a natural part of life, the powerful decide and the weak execute, courage will pave the way for the fight for women's rights.

The film is produced by Virginia Valsecchi for Capri Entertainment in co-production with Medset Film (a French company) and with Tenderstories, in collaboration with Vision
Distribution
and Rai Cinema. With the contribution of MIC. It will be distributed in Italy and globally by Vision Distribution.


Cast includes Claudia Gusmano, Fabrizio Ferracane, Francesco Colella, Manuela Ventura, Dario Aita, with the participation of Thony, Maziar Firouzi, with Francesco Giulio Cerilli and Paolo Pierobon.
