Marco Bellocchio, director of The Prince of Homburg, The Religion hour, To Win and The Traitor, to name but a few of his films, will be awarded the Palme d’Or for Lifetime Achievement. This was announced today by the Cannes Film Festival, which, after Jodie Foster, is announcing the second honorary award of the 2021 edition, scheduled for 6 to 17 July. Bellocchio will also present, in the Cannes Premiere section, his long-awaited new film: Marx can wait.
