Senza Fine, the documentary about Ornella Vanoni, is now available on Prime Video and Apple TV
Senza fine by Elisa Fuksas is a documentary about Ornella Vanoni that was released in theaters in February 2022 and is now available for streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV.
It is a portrait, a tribute, an intimate revelation, but above all, a quest to find the right way to tell the story of Ornella Vanoni.
The documentary captures her energy, personality, music, interactions, warmth, and fatigue, all presented without filters, including candid discussions between Ornella and the director, Elisa Fuksas. It follows Ornella’s natural creative process and adapts to the spontaneity of the moment, enriched by encounters with friends and musicians like Vinicio Capossela, Samuele Bersani, and Paolo Fresu.
Set in a timeless spa and a 1940s hotel, the film transports viewers to a place that transcends the present. It doesn’t merely chronicle Ornella Vanoni’s life but unveils her most intimate self.
Friends, musicians, and the sound of Paolo Fresu’s trumpet resonate through the empty halls of a grand hotel, where identical days of treatments and therapies create a backdrop for stories, memories, and even the future, as Ornella prepares to become an eternal, mythical figure.
The documentary is produced by Tenderstories, Wildside, and Indiana Production.
