Ornella Vanoni receives the Soundtrack Stars Award 2021
For the 2021 edition, the Soundtrack Stars Award pays tribute to Ornella Vanoni, to her extraordinary voice and to her love story with music. A story “Senza fine” (“Without end”), like one of her evergreen songs, but also like the title of the film by Elisa Fuksas, presented at Venice Days, in which she recounts with extraordinary sincerity even in the intimacy of a daily life that reveals something more of her private life.
Elegant, iconic and, this year, once again surprising in both her music and her film, to which she gives her reflections and previously unseen images, Ornella Vanoni is a protagonist and icon of Italian songwriting. Not only through her unmistakable voice but also through her ironic verve, she has been able to cross time and customs, becoming an authentic legend of the Italian music scene.
