Te l’avevo detto, the latest film by Ginevra Elkann, is now available for rental or purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV. After being selected for the Toronto Film Festival and making its debut at the Rome Film Festival, the film premiered in Italian theaters on February 1.
Featuring an exceptional cast, the movie explores characters so absorbed in their own problems and desires that they overlook the crumbling world around them.
The stellar cast includes Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Danny Huston, Greta Scacchi, Riccardo Scamarcio, Andrea Rossi, Alba Rohrwacher, Valeria Golino, Marisa Borini, and Sofia Panizzi. The screenplay and story were crafted by Chiara Barzini, Ilaria Bernardini, and Ginevra Elkann.
Te l’avevo detto Plot Summary
During a January weekend in Rome, an unexpected heatwave grips the city. In just two days, the characters are forced to confront what they’ve long evaded in their lives. Accustomed to using sex, food, drugs, and even love as escapes, they now must face the intense heat and be transformed by it, each in their own way.
