NASTRI D'ARGENTO 2022: "Senza Fine" and "La scelta di Maria" among documentary finalists
The great protagonists of music and cinema, from Caterina Caselli to Ornella Vanoni and Lucio Dalla, from Monica Vitti to Nino Manfredi, Gigi Proietti and Marina Cicogna and then, in the ‘cinema of reality’, civil rights and the 1970s of great social changes in the short list of the Silver Ribbons for Documentaries announced today by the Film Journalists.
The finalists were chosen from among the 150 films released in 2021 and viewed by the newly renewed National Board in a panorama particularly rich in themes, stories and characters that does not forget current events in a still critical year, marked by interesting testimonies linked to the present in a special creative ferment considering the critical conditions experienced by cinema due to the effects of the pandemic.
In the shortlist of finalists we find Tenderstories’ Senza Fine by Elisa Fuksas in the Cinema Spettacolo Cultura section and La Scelta di Maria by Francesco Miccichè in the Docufilm section.
