The plot of Amanda

Returning from Paris to her hometown in northern Italy, Amanda feels more isolated and out of place than ever. She soon learns, however, that her life was not always devoid of affection and connections: as a child, she had a friend named Rebecca. This discovery gives Amanda a new purpose: to rebuild her friendship with Rebecca and convince her that they are still best friends. During her nighttime wanderings through occupied construction sites and underground parties, Amanda meets Dude, a boy as lonely as she is. Determined to live life on her own terms, Amanda is committed to forging her own path and breaking free from societal conventions.
