Tenderstories and Papaya Records are producing the film on Lucio Dalla directed by Cesare Cremonini
Tenderstories, a company active in the creation of original content and audiovisual production and the film production company Papaya Records, will be the producers of the film dedicated to Lucio Dalla, born from a project by Cesare Cremonini, who will also be the director of the film.
The Bolognese singer-songwriter, who is busy writing his new album and on the eve of his big comeback in Italian stadiums in 2022, has been working for some time on the film, which will deal with some aspects of Dalla’s artistic career.
The film is co-produced by Moreno Zani’s Tenderstories, whose CEO is Malcom Pagani, and Filippo Valsecchi’s Papaya Records.
The film promises to be one of the most important cinematic events of the coming months.
Moreno Zani, Malcom Pagani and Filippo Valsecchi are enthusiastic: “We believed a lot in this project from the beginning. We would like to thank Cesare, who came up with the idea, and we are sure that this collaboration will make it possible to revive, through a film, a fundamental figure like Lucio Dalla: an icon of Italian music and, at the same time, one of our country’s most famous singer-songwriters. We have therefore decided to pay tribute to his artistic greatness with this contribution. We need to focus on culture in its broadest sense, and the Italian cinema represents an excellence to be enhanced, especially in this phase of recovery for Italy”.
The film is set mainly in Bologna and will be supported by the Emilia Romagna Film Commission.
