The Toronto International Film Festival will be held from September 5 to 15, 2024, marking its 49th edition. The festival has already revealed the lineup for its Discovery Programme, which highlights the debuts and sophomore films of emerging directors in the contemporary international cinema scene.

This year’s programme features 24 titles, including 21 world premieres and 3 international premieres.

Among these is Diciannove, the debut film by Giovanni Tortorici, produced by Frenesy, Pinball London, MeMo, AG Studios, and Tenderstories.
