1999, Rome. Giorgio (Giacomo Ferrara), a young boxing star, lives with his mother in the degraded outskirts of the city. His father, murdered years before, has left his son a debt with the mob that does not allow him to be a free man. With the help of Massimo (Vinicio Marchioni), who has a boxing background and sees in the boy the great champion he failed to become, Giorgio finally has a chance to redeem himself by entering the world of professional boxing. But the underworld of the suburbs never gives a chance to those who don't bend to its rules.
