1999, Rome. Giorgio, a young boxing star, lives with his mother in the degraded outskirts of the city. His father, murdered years before, has left his son a debt with the mob that does not allow him to be a free man. With the help of Massimo, who has a boxing background and sees in the boy the great champion he failed to become, Giorgio finally has a chance to redeem himself by entering the world of professional boxing.
